Founder - Patricia Carter

Patricia Carter understood her calling: she wanted to provide food for the poor and share the love of Christ with her local community. She committed her life to helping those around her. Her mission was to unite churches as she fostered a spirit of unity. She aimed to edify the body of Christ by distributing food to the needy, providing clothing for those less fortunate, and offering counsel to those who are hurting.

Patricia envisioned creating a ministry called Home At Sunset, which would embody a family-like atmosphere because she believes we are all brothers and sisters in the Lord. Her day consists of constant prayer as she witnesses the Lord's hand guiding her efforts to gather food for those in need.

She has seen the fruits of her ministry from past initiatives, such as distributing toys in Tri-Valley, Oakland, and San Jose. Patricia has experienced tremendous success with churches partnering with Home At Sunset to support her cause.

Home At Sunset is not just another nonprofit organization; it is a ministry dedicated to fully supporting the needs of others. Patricia believes she is living out the Gospel as it should be.
